When the unbelievers see that the tribulations Allah has prepared for them, then they will hate themselves, lovers and their friends in the world. Turn all the love between them into hostility. That's when the dwellers fight with each other and arguing. This happens according to the difference in their levels:
قالوا وهم فيها يختصمون (96) تالله إن كنا لفي ضلال مبين (97) إذ نسويكم برب العالمين (98) وما أضلنا إلا المجرمون (99)
"They said they were quarreling therein:" By Allah, we were (in the world) in manifest error, "we made you equal with the Lord of the Worlds". "And our seducers except those who sin". QS. Ash-Su'araa vg `: 96-99
وإذ يتحاجون في النار فيقول الضعفاء للذين استكبروا إنا كنا لكم تبعا فهل أنتم مغنون عنا نصيبا من النار (47) قال الذين استكبروا إنا كل فيها إن الله قد حكم بين العباد (48)
And (remember) when they will dispute in hell, so those who are weak say to those who were proud: 'We were your followers, so can you take from us some portion of the Fire? " Those who were arrogant vg will say: "We are all together in Hell Because Allah has judged between the servants (his)". QS. Ghafir: 47-48
وأقبل بعضهم على بعض يتساءلون (27) قالوا إنكم كنتم تأتوننا عن اليمين (28) قالوا بل لم تكونوا مؤمنين (29) وما كان لنا عليكم من سلطان بل كنتم قوما طاغين (30) فحق علينا قول ربنا إنا لذائقون (31) فأغويناكم إنا كنا غاوين (32) فإنهم يومئذ في العذاب مشتركون (33)
"Some of them turn to one another dispute. Followers they say (to their leaders):" Surely you used to come to us and right. Their leaders said: "It is you who do not believe." And once in a while we did not prevail against you, even you are the transgressing people. Surely then the decision (punishment) we override God above us; Surely we would feel (doom). aka we have been mislead vg you, we are indeed those who go astray. Then surely they on that day together in torment. "QS. Ash-Shaaffat: 27-33
